Anthology Completed!

  • Mar. 19th, 2008 at 2:02 PM
I've finally finished compiling Two Degrees of Separation. It is now ready for purchase. If you like the look of this anthology, please consider buying it. I reckon it'll turn out to be a cracking read. Needless to say, I've just ordered my copy.

The final inclusions were stories by David Redd and Steven Utley (thanks Sarah!).

You're welcome! And thanks much for the free advertising - I suspect that several of my sales through AB have been due to you. :)

And there will be more sales to come :-)

I think for someone like me, who doesn't have any novels to tout yet, AB is probably one of the most effective publicity tools around. It won't make me much money (I'm worth a quarter so far) but it is a good way of keeping my short fiction alive. And building public domain anthologies is a good way of saying "Thank you" to my friends, without whom...etc.
(Share the wealth and all that.)

I hope to see more of your stories up on AB in due course. I loved the one I read in Hub #2.

Best

As a consumer, I love the idea of putting the stories I want in an anthology; as an author, I love the idea of print-on-demand reprints. So, yeah, I pretty much love it all the way around. And you're right, it is nice to be able to point people to it.

OTOH, for publicity purposes I think having some fiction available free online would be even better. I've been actively targeting online markets lately - ChiZine, Lone Star Stories, Coyote Wild - for this very reason.

At any rate, yes, I'll definitely be subbing some more stuff to AB in the next few months. I'm glad you liked "Talent Search." :)
